The Leatherstocking Ballet announces its guest artist teachers for the Summer Intensive.

Katy Bowlby received her early training in Colorado at Dance in the Rockies and with esteemed teacher Valerie Madonia. She then furthered her training at the Julliard School, Ballet West, the Joffrey Ballet, and Colorado Ballet. A finalist in the Denver Ballet Guild competition for her solo performance of Odile, Ms. Bowlby later joined the studio company of the Colorado Ballet and in 2012 accepted an offer to join Dayton Ballet where she is a full company member as well as teaching nationally. She will be teaching comtemporary, repertoire, pre-pointe/pointe, as well as specialty classes.
Paul Gilliam began his training in Oklahoma and later at the Houston Ballet Academy. Mr. Gilliam is in his 11th season with Dayton Ballet and has had many leading roles including Franz in Coppelia, Basilio in Don Quixote, Renfield in Dracula, Escamillo in Carmen, Peter in Peter Pan, and D'Artangnon in The Three Muskateers. He has been a featured artist in Trinity as well as a guest artist, teacher, and choreographer nationally. A returning favorite at the School of Dance, Mr. Gilliam will be teaching ballet, pointe, repertoire, and specialty classes.
Biboti Quikahilo was born in the Kouetinfla Progouri Central West region of the of the Ivory Coast, West Africa. In 1980, he began his professional dance, drum, and choreography career with the prominent Ivory Coast National Dance & Drum Company. Touring throughout the world provided Biboti with the opportunity to share his talents in a number of countries such as Morocco, Germany, Belgium, England, France, Yogoslavia, Italy, Kenya, Spain, Benin, and Mexico. In 1997, he came to the US and in 2003 established the Wacheva Cultural Arts Center in Syracuse and teaches nationally. He will be teaching African Dance
