About us:
The Leatherstocking Ballet, Inc. was
formed in 1995 to foster a healthy interest and development of the
performing arts in the Mohawk Valley and surrounding areas. The aim
has not only been to attract the attention of the serious ballet student,
but also the interest of minority students of various cultural backgrounds.
In addition to participating in a major stage production, ballet members have the opportunity to volunteer for community events and fundraising. In the 2005/06 season, company members were involved in Relay for Life.
